Drama

Headed up by our wonderfully experienced teacher, Kathryn Martin, the drama workshops are activity based with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment without too much emphasis on performance. These workshops are run after school and also in the holidays.

About the teacher

Kathryn won scholarships at Mountview Theatre School before going on to act and direct in theatre and television. She gained a First Class BEd (Hons) degree in English and Drama and has since worked passionately with children from infant school through to GCSE & A’ level, encouraging many children to study for their LAMDA* grades.

What will my child do in each session?

Stories, poetry, music or props will be taken as a stimulus for improvisational work. Skills such as presentation or mask work will also be covered allowing the children to work together in a non-intimidating environment to help develop their creativity and confidence.
